Fluoropolymer Resources is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Office Administrator to join our team in North Windham, CT.
FRL is the global leader in reprocessing of melted processable fluoropolymers, as well as the distribution of virgin fluoropolymer resin. Summary: The Office Administrator will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office, managing day-to-day administrative tasks, and supporting staff to maintain a productive work environment.
Essential Duties:
· Administer Sales Order & Purchase Order activity including entry into the ERP system, and interaction with customers and suppliers.
· Manage the system for quoting, arranging and administering inbound/outbound international and domestic freight.
· Work closely with the Director of MIS/Admin, Operations Manager, Engineers and Continuous Improvement Coordinator providing data input and procedures maintenance.
· Work closely with the factory and finance department coordinating paperwork and providing information to ensure timely payment of bills and invoicing of shipments.
· Heavy project related data collection, analysis and reporting.
· Answer phone and other task-based activities as assigned.
· Support and campaign for an overall safety driven environment.
Requirements
Education & Experience
· Associates Degree or higher in a business or technology related field, or current enrollment in a business or technology related degree program is desired.
· Experience in a manufacturing office environment is helpful.
· ERP system experience a real plus.
· Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a plus.
· Familiarity with HR processes is advantageous.
Core Competencies
· Excellent verbal and strong written communications.
· Strong data entry skills include good typing speed and accuracy.
· Strong Excel skills including pivot tables with filters and reporting.
· Proficiency in Word & Power Point.
· Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
· Entrepreneurial approach to work, operating with minimal supervision.
· Ability to lift up to 25lbs and assist with office setup when necessary.
