Duties
- Assist licensed plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks such as assembling pipes and fittings.
- Learn to read blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Support the team in welding tasks as needed for pipe connections.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including HVAC technicians and carpenters, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in construction.
- A willingness to learn about plumbing systems, HVAC, and general maintenance person skills.
- Ability to work well on a construction site, including lifting and moving materials as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
- Previous experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required.
