What are the responsibilities and job description for the DENTAL ASSISTANT position at Flushing Hospital?
Assist the dentist in all aspects of dentistry that is performed in the clinic, and reviews medical history with the Dentist. Sets up for dental procedures, sterilizes instruments and maintains appropriate records and logs. Mixes and pours models. Operatories-stock supplies, maintain and clean equipment. Performs other related duties as required. Performs unrelated duties in times of emergencies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Dental experience in a general dentistry setting
- Certification Preferred.
- Dental experience in a general dentistry setting.
- Ability to exchange information with patients properly.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures that may be written.
