Office - Customer Service Representative

Flutes Hanna Ave., LLC., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Schwarz Partners and corrugated manufacturing industry leader, currently has a Customer Service Representative position available in Indianapolis, IN! As our Customer Service Rep, you will be responsible for taking and processing customer orders and addressing all customer inquiries and complaints.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:

• Receive customer orders and order changes either directly from customers via EDI, email or fax and from sales representatives and record, process and place orders timely and accurately. Double check all orders from other CSRs.
• Receive and respond to customer complaints and questions and follow-up with appropriate internal personnel as required to improve customer service.
• Assist in answering incoming phone calls.
• Work with Accounting on account questions or disputes from customers and coordinate accounting credits when necessary by sending them to Quality Mgr.
• Fax or e-mail confirmations and other information to customers.
• Assist sales personnel as appropriate and assist in generating supplemental sales.
• Pricing orders from price matrix or quoting sheet and screen.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or Equivalent GED.

PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Computer data-entry experience.
• Experience in the corrugated box industry.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES (TECHNICAL, CLERICAL, LANGUAGE, ETC.):

• Application knowledge and skill for computer data entry.
• Application knowledge of products and production processes.
• Quality standards.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as sales reports, operating instruction, training and procedure manuals.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to compute rates, and percentages and calculate figures and amounts such as, costs, proportions, and volumes.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram (graphic) form.
