This role involves supporting the development of SCADA maps, RTUs, and testing communications within SCADA/EMS systems.

This role involves supporting the development of SCADA maps, RTUs, and testing communications within SCADA/EMS systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop SCADA maps and RTUs in compliance with utility client standards.
- Support testing and communications in SCADA/EMS systems.
- Apply knowledge of electronic and automation functions, including digital protection.
- Utilize expertise in IEC 61850 and communication protocols, especially DNP.
- Work with SCADA systems, manufacturers, and equipment.
- Support communications infrastructure, including digital radio and fiber optics.
- Leverage experience with electrical substations, substation equipment, and power grids.
- Engineering degree from a recognized institution.
- P.E. license preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in automation, digital, relay, or utility engineering.
- Knowledge of codes and standards such as IEEE and ANSI, as well as OH&S Regulations, NERC, and FERC regulations.
