The Program Quality Control Manager will play a key role in overseeing and ensuring the quality of the program’s execution.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional engineering consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of diverse projects.
- Develop and evaluate engineering reports, plans, and specification criteria.
- Coordinate with the project team, including client communication, proposal coordination, and managing other discipline-related activities.
- Review and approve specifications, scaled drawings, proposals, and final plans to ensure they meet client requirements and construction standards.
- Meet with clients to define objectives and requirements for the project scope.
- Perform quality audits and ensure technical accuracy by reviewing the work of junior staff and providing guidance to other professionals and technicians.
- Conduct quality control reviews, field reviews, and observations of ongoing construction projects.
- Lead a discipline team or multidisciplinary teams, providing technical guidance and support to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in good standing.
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and ordinances.
- Proficiency in production software and construction document production.
- Proven ability to address challenging issues in a professional manner and lead teams to successful outcomes.
- Experience working on major projects or multiple moderate-sized projects, with a focus on providing technical guidance to junior staff.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients, contractors, team members, and key stakeholders.
