Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. Duties
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely and labeling them accurately.
- Perform picking and packing duties for orders, ensuring all items are accounted for before shipment.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely processing of shipments.
Skills
- Experience with picking and packing processes in a warehouse setting.
- Strong basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.
- Familiarity with Shopify or CommentSold platforms is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods while performing duties.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in shipping and receiving tasks.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
