Summary and Objective
The Duty Manager is responsible for leading daily operations across all fleets, ensuring seamless communication, efficient problem-solving, and optimal resource allocation. This role involves overseeing flight operations, maintenance coordination, and crew readiness to support a superior client experience. The Duty Manager ensures that all operational issues are anticipated and resolved with minimal disruption, maintaining the highest standards of safety, service, and efficiency.

Flight Operations
Monitor and oversee day-of-flight operations, ensuring timely flight following and accurate dissemination of information.
Maintain an elevated level of communication across stakeholders, including flight crews, client services, and operations teams.
Proactively identify and address potential disruptions such as weather, ATC delays, maintenance issues, and crew readiness.
Ensure the optimization of trips executed on fleet aircraft, maintaining high utilization rates.
Facilitate cross-functional decision-making processes to resolve operational challenges.
Maintenance Coordination
Collaborate with Maintenance Planners to optimize scheduling of inspections, preventive maintenance, and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) events.
Consolidate planned and unplanned maintenance to minimize operational impacts.
Provide accurate future maintenance projections to ensure fleet readiness.
Track third-party maintenance accountability, including Return to Service (RTS) timelines and parts management.
Crew Management
Ensure proper crew availability and readiness for planned and RTS aircraft.
Work with Crew Scheduling and Training Departments to align staffing and training with operational needs.
Oversee crew communication, confirming readiness prior to flights and addressing any potential issues.
Client and Customer Service
Understand and prioritize client needs, ensuring these requirements are effectively communicated to operations teams.
Support Client Services by managing VIP needs and facilitating cross-functional collaboration during IROPs (Irregular Operations).
Monitor and report customer service performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Administrative and Reporting Duties
Ensure accurate and timely documentation, including flight logs, delay codes, crew pairings, and other operational data.
Continuously verify the Tactical Board is updated with correct data. Assigning the appropriate parties to make corrections or enter in data.
Track and report key operational metrics to stakeholders.
Regularly update the OCC (Operations Control Center) on operational changes and outcomes.

Provide leadership to Dispatch team members, ensuring efficient daily operations.

Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Aerospace or Aeronautics operations.
Strong understanding of private aviation dispatch processes and FAA regulations.
Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States, must provide two forms of Federal Identification.
Candidates must successfully complete a comprehensive background check prior to employment. This includes verification of previous employment, education, criminal history, and any other relevant information necessary to determine the suitability for the position.
Preferred Education and Experience
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or related field.
Knowledge of business jet performance capabilities.
