Assistant Director
Flying Colors Learning Center #3 Redd Rd Location.
To insure a safe, healthy, and happy environment that stimulates and motivates children to reach their full potential emotionally, physically and intellectually. To guide and develop staff, daily operation of the center, and insure quality customer service.
We are seeking an Assistant Director to join our team and provide support to our Director as they implement the policies and procedures of the agency.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in child care, school, or other related fields with direct experience working with children with special needs.
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, and staff.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to organize and manage staff effectively.
- Knowledge of state licensing regulations and child care laws.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for the Director including scheduling appointments for medical appointments, scheduling child care hours, scheduling transportation for staff, scheduling office supplies, etc.
- Work closely with Director on program implementation including data collection and reporting.
- Maintain accurate staff schedules and schedules all staff for shifts.
- Maintain positive relationships with students and parents throughout the entire school day.
- Help develop and motivate staff.
- Help increase enrollments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
