Flying Food Group is seeking a reliable Dispatcher. This position is responsible for take incoming calls from customers for up-counts and changes in flight information, and communicate such information to proper channels. Maintain delivery notes, dispatch logs and radio communication with drivers during catering operations. Make sure KDT’s are honored per
specifications for each airline OR Meal Solutions account.
Essential Functions
Follow established rules of each unit for entry to building and work areas, properly attired and in compliance with HACCP guidelines for personal hygiene and observe dress code for proper appearance.
- Comply with all security regulations as mandated by local authorities and unit management.
- Answers all calls from customers with respect to up-counts and changes of flight information and communicates that information to proper channels for execution.
- Make sure that catering vehicle is dispatched to proper gate for specific flight that load is intended for.
- Ensure that truck arrives at proper location at proper time.
- Maintain communication with catering vehicle and operations supervisor
- Conduct interpersonal relations with airline personnel in a courteous professional manner at all times.
- Maintain and update all radio logs, trip records, reports, vouchers, boarding bills, invoices and other documentation accurately and completely

This position has non-supervisory responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed weather related cold, heat, and moisture in an outdoor environment. The noise level in the work environment will be normal.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. The facility operates 24 hours, 365 days. Must be willing to work any shift, days off as assigned by plant leadership.
