ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must have extensive knowledge in cocktails, wines and spirits, food knowledge and safety. Being fast and accurate is vital to keeping up with our fast-paced environment.
- Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders
- Informing customers about new beverages and specials
- Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers
- Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol
- Assisting with inventory when needed and alerting management of supplies needed to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked
- Adhering to all food safety, quality and alcohol service regulations and standards
- Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register
- Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of two years of restaurant experience in upscale dining is preferred. Must be detail oriented, accurate and possess good organizational abilities and be capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Must possess customer service skills and strong oral communication skills. Competency in dealing with members and fellow employees under circumstances requiring tact and diplomacy. Must possess the ability to work effectively under time deadlines.

Under the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA), employees accrue one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year. Other legally required benefits, such as workers' compensation and unemployment insurance, also apply. Additionally, we provide a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match.
