ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for maintaining a positive environment and image for fellow co-workers and Members/Guests.
- Answering phone calls, directing callers to necessary extensions and taking thorough messages
- Making Tee Time reservations in person or over the phone
- Ringing up sales at register and assisting customers
- Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock
- Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and house keeping
- Ensure that each Member and Guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, building rapport with members, and all other aspects of customer service
- Maintain an awareness of sales and events happening at the facility
- Responsible for executing opening and closing duties
- Any other tasks assigned by manager
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Related experience in Customer service or Hospitality preferred
- Must have a pleasant and tactful personality and be timely
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds, 30% of the time
- Must be able to communicate effectively in the English language
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays; 24-40 hours per week
- Must have reliable transportation and access to a business casual wardrobe
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Must possess customer service skills and strong oral communication skills. Must have competency in interacting with vendors, Club members, and fellow employees under circumstances requiring tact and diplomacy. Must possess ability to work effectively under deadlines and be able to multitask.
