ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will work hand-in-hand with staff to support, monitor, develop and lead a team in a positive Restaurant environment. Mentoring team members to use their creativity and talent to invent new solutions, meet new demands, and offer the most effective services/products in the industry for the best guest experience.
- Oversee the set-up, organization and service of the Dining Rooms and Bars to ensure that the highest standards of quality and service are maintained
- Assist in maintaining Equipment and Restaurant Appearances. Report any issues and/or necessary work needed to Maintenance with follow up of completion
- Cleanliness of FOH (Front of House) and BOH (Back of House), Employee Daily Log Completion
- Provide input to kitchen on menus, special events and presentation efficiency
- Establishing personal but professional rapport with guests and staff alike
- Respond to customer complaints quickly and resolve them effectively
- Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering of Restaurant/Bar good and cleaning products in conjunction with Bar Supervisor
- Responsible for transactions/gratuities that are rung into the POS
- Speak with accounting on any discrepancies
- Identify methods our restaurant can use to cut waste, decrease costs, and improve profits
- Develop strategies with Senior F&B Manager to improving our customers’ dining experience
- Ensure productivity levels are high and attention to detail is maintained by all team members
- Assist in the training of new employees as well as the continuous training of existing staff to uphold high levels of service while also participating in all departmental training sessions
- Oversee/Enforce staff uniform, appearance, health code and sanitation compliance and requirements
- Attend weekly meeting with Senior F&B Manager
- Interview, hire and schedule Staff for all Clubhouse Dining operations
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years of experience hiring and supervising F&B staff in an upscale dining environment.
- Schedule flexibility that includes working evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Country Club experience preferred
Must possess customer service skills and strong oral communication skills. Competency in dealing with members and fellow employees under circumstances requiring tact and diplomacy. Must possess the ability to work effectively under time deadlines. Proven ability to develop programs and systems. Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Will have contact with Lodge Manager, Culinary, Conference Supervisor, Accounting, Food & Beverage personnel and other industry related people while conducting relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall marketing and operational success of the company.
