ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for being attentive to our Guests' needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed. Must possess knowledge about food, wine, alcoholic beverages, and service to create excellent experiences for our Members and Guests.
- Ensuring function room set ups are as per Banquet Event Order (BEO) and that our standards are maintained
- Anticipating event needs, respond promptly and create solutions to issues that may arise
- Maintaining complete knowledge of BEO format in order to determine event requirements and trouble shooting.
- Maintain Food Safety per Colorado Health Code; In addition, ensure food quality and presentation
- Being proactive in the housekeeping of our event rooms ensuring customer areas are well maintained and in excellent working order
- Ensure all Back of House (BOH) storage areas are well maintained and replenished to include monthly inventory and ordering per Conference/Banquet demands; all reports sent Monthly to Catering Services Manager
- Establishing personal but professional rapport with guests and staff alike
- Liaising with banquet organizers and when required attend to their set up needs
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of two years of restaurant experience in fine dining is preferred with one year Catering & Events Servers also preferred. Must be detail oriented, accurate and possess good organizational abilities and be capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must possess customer service skills and strong oral communication skills. Competency in dealing with members and fellow employees under circumstances requiring tact and diplomacy. Must possess the ability to work effectively under time deadlines.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Reports to the food & beverage managers and supervisors for specific tasks and must check out upon the end of shift. Will have to work together with various staff and positions at the club. Communicating with the front desk at the lodge, banquet teams, kitchen staff, valet, servers, and food runners are necessary to ensure a great experience for our guests.
