Job Description – Golf Cart Attendant
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the details and cleanliness of the golf cart fleet, be sure carts are full of gas or charged, and supplies are accurately stocked. Responsible for maintaining Driving Range. Provide unparalleled service to our members and guests.
JOB DUTIES:
- Stage carts in proper staging area prepared to service players as they arrive
- Detail staged carts in the morning as needed
- Greet guests warmly
- Be attentive and “ready” to service the member/guest at bag drop
- Assist patrons in removing golf bags from vehicles and load onto carts as needed
- Assist with loading coolers with ice and beverages as needed
- Assist in resolving any guest inquiries or issues promptly and professionally
- Pick Driving Range and wash range balls
- Assist patrons in removing bags from carts and return to their vehicle as needed
- Return carts to storage area removing towels, pencils, score cards, tees, trash, etc. from carts and reuse appropriate items
- Wash and detail carts as they are returned
- Ensure carts are filled with gas before parking overnight
- Ensure electric carts are plugged into charger overnight
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent communication/relational service skills
- Golf experience or knowledge of the game preferred
- Candidates must have professional presentation and strong customer service/interpersonal skills
- TABC certification (may receive while training)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess the ability to drive a gas and/or electric golf cart, following safety guidelines
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Ability to lift, push, pull, carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to withstand a range of outside weather conditions (heat/cold, rain/snow, etc.)
- Must be able to withstand prolonged exposure to sunlight.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
