The ideal candidate is an energetic, positive-thinking, and motivated individual with high-quality standards and the appropriate electro-mechanical skill set. This role is responsible for maintaining and managing a mechanically sound and cost-efficient fleet for our rapidly growing, multi-location fuel transport business. The Fleet Manager ensures adherence to safety, environmental, vehicle, and workplace regulations. This role manages a comprehensive fleet management program to include tracking maintenance, inventory, and anticipated replacement of all vehicles and equipment.

What We Need

• Class A CDL. Hazmat & Tanker endorsements a plus, but not initially required
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge
• Knowledge of class 8 trucks and trailers
• Must be familiar with DOT requirements for Motor Vehicle Safety compliance
• Basic geographic understanding of the areas of operations
• >3 years in the motor carrier maintenance industry
• Experience maintaining inventory and vehicle maintenance records
• >5 years of proven leadership experience.
• Basic computer skills with office software
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the Company and its insurers.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
