- Supervision and support of all company safety standards
- Safety Training and Education
- Insurance claims and management
- Jobsite Safety Inspection and data analysis
- Incident investigation and reporting to upper management/executives
- Maintain applicable safety reference material on the job site.
- Attend pre-work meetings including preparatory meetings
- Establish a Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) Deficiency Tracking System
- Ensure compliance with safety and health requirements.
- Maintain a list of hazardous chemicals on-site and their material Safety Data Sheets
- Maintain a weekly list of high-hazard activities
- Provide and keep a record of site safety orientation and indoctrination
- Tracking analysis of QC data from site
- Carry out random inspections to ensure that the product meets quality requirements
- Coordination with contractor and consultant regarding inspection comments
- Conduct and oversee actual site testing (water test; smoke test & acoustic test).
- Joint inspection with the Consultant and Client representative for final acceptance of the works.
- Bachelor’s degrees in occupational safety and health or in a safety related field
- Or an OSHA 500 certificate AND a minimum 1-3 yrs experience in Construction safety
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Construction Health & Safety Certification preferred (CHST)
- Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred
- Must have VALID driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a government background check
- Must display excellent written and verbal communication skills
