We are hiring a qualified welder to form part of our manufacturing division! Candidates must have previous experience in MIG & TIG welding. This will be a hybrid position as welder you will have welding projects but also receive training to eventually work in a fabricator role.

Responsibilities & Tasks

• Work in sheet metal fabrication, welding plate panels, and various other manufacturing projects
• MIG & TIG welding with stainless steel and aluminum material
• Learn how to operate machinery/equipment on a daily basis: Autoshear, auto bender, press brake, CNC punch, etc
• Detail and finishing on trims, metal panels, and other projects
• Use various hand and power tools: sheet metal shears, grinders, sander, aluminum spool gun
• Complete projects from start to finish, individually, and as a team
  
  
  

Requirements

• 1-2 years' experience in Welding, specifically TIG AND MIG on small gauge material
• Can pass a weld test 1/8 inch, 3mm aluminum TIG welding
• Experience with finishing work and polishing visible welds
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication is preferred: bending, shearing, punching, crating
• Trainable, able and willing to learn how to operate equipment such as: Autoshear, auto bender, press brake, CNC punch
• Follow all safety rules and procedures, participate in safety classes and certifications as required
• Preferred- has previously worked in a manufacturing/fabrication setting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
• Has reliable transportation
