What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Project Manager position at Flynn Group?
Position Description :
IT Project Managers are responsible for overseeing all aspects of any project in Flynn’s IT department. Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.
Some of an IT Project Manager’s day-to-day duties include :
- Manages all phases of the IT projects assigned with minimal support, including planning, executing, delivering, and closing activities.
- Work with business leaders and project team members to develop appropriate methodology plans and activities with appropriate tasks, resources, milestones, cost analysis and timelines.
- Provide all levels of project communications and work with project sponsors to resolve issues, address changes and identify risks.
- Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence.
- Contributes to ongoing IT project leadership process improvement by making recommendations to the Project Management Practices, Tools & Standards.
