What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Executive position at Flynn?
Flynn, an Ad Age Best Place to Work, is all about creating great work that moves the needle for our clients. Our Account Executives play a vital role in making that happen. As our newest Account Executive, you’ll responsible for day-to-day client contact and management of agency deliverables on multiple accounts; building strong/lasting relationships with clients, achieving clients’ marketing objectives and thereby assisting in the agency’s growth. This includes maintaining a high level of awareness of client activities, detail-oriented program and project management, and professional communication.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor client requests that have been assigned to cross-departmental teams and follow up to ensure timely completion
- Create and update project timelines and detailed status reports with responsibilities and deadlines specified for each task and team member
- Prepare, distribute and update concise meeting notes and action items
- Work within the various agency processes, project-management and accounting tools to ensure that all jobs are properly recorded, updated, and communicated
- Assist in the production of presentations and reports for clients
- Be creative in problem-solving and for improved collaboration and efficiency
- Develop creative briefs, budgets and timelines and ensure adherence to specifications to complete campaign deliverables on time/on budget
- Forecast client revenues and help to manage agency resources accordingly
- Review and QC all materials before releasing to clients or for production
- Develop in-depth expertise in clients’ industries, businesses and target markets
- Build rapport and credibility with clients based on expert counsel and ability to problem solve and deliver as promised
- Organize/assist in development client presentations
- Stay alert for opportunities to grow client business and billings
- Continue to develop personal expertise in all facets of marketing and advertising
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
- Agency experience highly desirable
- Self-starter with ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
- Comfortable assisting to manage client financials
