What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Banker position at FM BANK?
At FM BANK, we take pride in our local culture and serving our local communities. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Universal Banker to join our team. Confidentiality, attention to detail and problem-solving skills are important qualifications for this position.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
Handles all functions of personal banking, new accounts and processing customers transactions while providing prompt, courteous and efficient customer service within established guidelines. Performs a wide range of services including deposit account opening, debit cards, CDs, IRAs, transfers, check orders, servicing and maintenance on accounts and problem resolution. Duties may include various day to day operational, clerical and routine tasks.
Typical hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
Support the community we serve by occasionally promoting or attending community events.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience/Skills
Prior banking experience preferred. Must possess the ability to work independently in a professional setting. The position requires attention to detail to ensure our customers and bank have accurate account information. Strong communication, time management and customer service skills are also required.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or similar field of study from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience is preferred.
