FM Corporation is a plastic manufacturing company. We mold, Finish, and assemble plastic parts. Our main product is parts that go into Medical Testing equipment that are used in hospitals, Doctor offices, and Eye clinics across the world. We currently have several Molding Machine Operator positions available.
Available Shifts:
1st Shift- Monday-Thursday, 5:30am-4pm
2nd Shift- Monday- Thursday 3:45pm-2:15am
3rd Shift- Sunday-Wednesday, 8:30 pm - 7:00 am
Job Summary:
Responsible for operating Molding machine, insert, and secondary operations.
Job Performance:
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Performs functions per product specifications and/or requirements, according to work order traveler.
- Removes parts from Molding machine when applicable, removes sprues, gates, flash, and other post molding operations.
- Works with appropriate tools and equipment
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms
- Monitors processes and inspects product to specifications or requirements, according to work order traveler.
- Meets or exceeds established manufacturing goals.
- Must maintain work area and equipment in a clean condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
- Maintains acceptable levels of attendance and punctuality
- Must be willing to accept and receive supervision, instructions, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Must adhere to company policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to adequately work with appropriate tools and equipment, frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Must have adequate mobility for stooping, bending, lifting, strength and grip requirements necessary to frequently manipulate and/or lift products weighing up to 40 lbs; continuously required to stand; frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Must wear safety glasses with side shields in all production areas and hearing protection must be worn in designated areas at all times.
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment, heat and cold temperatures vary according to season.
- This position is considered safety sensitive due to the manufacturing environment, moving machinery, and forklift traffic.
Education, Skills/Qualifications:
Entry level position, 1 year production/manufacturing experience preferred.
