Chief Engineer
San Francisco, CA
$170,000 - $195,000 per annum.
Monday - Friday (1st shift)
Due to an internal expansion, we have an excellent opportunity for a Chief Building Engineer to work for the a prestigious campus in San Francisco, CA.
Our client are looking for a talented seasoned Chief Building Engineer that has proven experience in a complex environment, has BMS Controls experience and prior leadership experience is preferred .
The successful candidate will ideally have basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general facility maintenance knowledge.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide a reactive and proactive maintenance service
- Provide a multi-skilled maintenance engineer service, which covers electrical and mechanical disciplines
- Provide a service that ensures all mechanical and electrical equipment is running to optimum performance
- Provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators are met
- Understand critical building automation systems
- Carry out modifications and installations when required
- Liaise with sub-contractors and external suppliers
- Liaise with client/management
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years working in a leadership capacity
- A recognized qualification in one of the following: Electrical or HVAC
- Strong BMS Controls background
- Be flexible towards work & carry out duties that may not be specific to your trade
