We are seeking a Pennsylvania Journeyman Certified Electrician to join a cutting-edge technological manufacturing contract in Lancaster, PA. Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safe and efficient operation of a large facility. This position involves troubleshooting, performing repairs, and providing electrical support services to ensure smooth facility operations.
Essential Responsibilities:
Respond to and resolve emergency maintenance calls promptly.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, facility systems, and electrical infrastructure.
Perform fire and life safety inspections and maintain accurate documentation of results.
Accurately identify and document necessary repairs or adjustments to equipment and systems.
Maintain detailed records of work performed, ensuring compliance with operational standards.
Evaluate building equipment and systems, recommending improvements, upgrades, or replacements.
Assist with start-ups for new building construction or expansions as needed.
Perform general facility maintenance and repairs as assigned.
Conduct building inspections and equipment safety tests in accordance with safety protocols.
Exhibit excellent customer service skills and clear communication, both verbal and written.
Qualifications and Experience:
Certified Journeyman Electrician with current Pennslyvania certification.
Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair, ideally in a large facility setting.
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
Licensed, certified, or registered in an electrical capacity.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
