Job Title: Technical Supervisor (Campus Facilities)
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Salary: Up to $140,000 per annum Overtime Sign-On Bonus

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Technical Supervisor to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of a large campus facility in Santa Clara, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and troubleshooting critical infrastructure systems, including Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Water Loops, and HVAC systems. Experience working in laboratory environments is also required. As a hands-on leader, you will guide a team of six technicians, ensuring smooth operations, compliance with safety standards, and the highest levels of service delivery. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of six maintenance technicians, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems across the campus.
• Provide hands-on technical expertise in the maintenance and troubleshooting of Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Water Loops, and HVAC systems.
• Manage preventative maintenance schedules, ensuring that systems are regularly serviced and remain in optimal working condition.
• Lead and oversee the execution of complex technical tasks and emergency repairs, providing direction to the team and ensuring high-quality service.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all systems meet the operational needs of the campus, including laboratory facilities.
• Implement best practices for system operations, energy efficiency, and safety compliance, maintaining accurate records of all activities and repairs.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, training, and development within the maintenance team to ensure the team’s technical capabilities remain high.
• Act as the main point of contact for any facility-related emergencies, troubleshooting issues and providing solutions in real-time.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers as necessary for specialized maintenance and repairs.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working in a campus or similar large-scale facility environment.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Water Loops, HVAC systems, and laboratory equipment.
• Proven experience leading a team of technicians in a maintenance or facilities environment.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues across a variety of systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in HVAC, Facilities Maintenance, or equivalent technical certification.
• Previous experience working in a laboratory or research-focused environment.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
