What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift-AZ CNC Machinist IV position at FM Industries?
Offering Sign on Bonus, $500 payable at 6-month anniversary, $750 payable at 12-month anniversary
Machinist I, II and III capabilities:
Work directly with engineering design team and programing department to:
- Provide/recommend manufacturing methods
- Evaluate drawings and provide feedback on GD&T according to design intent
- Determine raw material dimensions
Programming:
- Write & Edit NC Code at Machine
- CAD/CAM experience a plus
Machine Set Up:
- Determine and/or create appropriate fixture based on part drawing
- Determine clamping based on setup book and/or program
- Determine appropriate cutting tools and holders
Inspection:
- Evaluate critical features based off understanding of design intent
- Determine appropriate inspection equipment and frequency
1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 5:30am-3:30pm, Some Saturdays may be required.
