What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift-AZ Stores Clerk - Inventory position at FM Industries?
Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. Ensure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Maintain inventory records
- Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties
- Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary
- Complete jobs making sure all operations and material completed
- Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product
- Perform routine clerical assignments including filling invoices and maintaining records
- Comply with applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations, Company policy and accepted safe work practices
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Working knowledge of ERP software (Epicor preferred)
- Six months inventory and warehousing experience preferred
- Forklift operator certificate a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
