Days: Mon-Fri 6:00am to 2:30pm; Swing: Mon-Fri 2:00pm to 10:30pm; Weekends: Fri-Sun 8am to 8pm
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
As a CNC Lathe Machinist 1, you will set-up and run repeat or proven part(s) with simple to intermediate complexity with direction from area Lead or Supervisor.
- Responsible for utilizing shop paper procedure including updates, signatures, and stamps, counting quantities, labeling and non-conformance related activities
- Read blueprints, tooling instructions, and standard charts for specifications
- Provide technical assistance, guidance, and instruction to operators and lower-level machinists as
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years’ work experience
- Basic knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of blueprint reading, GD & T
- Basic knowledge of accepted inspection practices
- Hearing ability: ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose.
