SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for the physical receipt, data entry, and transaction transfers of inventory, consumables, and other goods. Responsible for accurately maintaining receiving logs, transfer logs, and accurate data entry of all inventory transactions.
- Maintain all related clerical records and computer transactions concerning all inventory items received, moved, and issued.
- Uses the computer for data entry, running reports for cross-checking inventory balances, and stock status for on-hand balances before materials are issued.
- Assists level 1 stockroom clerks with challenging issues and can troubleshoot discrepancies.
- Conduct daily cycle counts and complete physical inventory from start to post, including entering counts.
- Understands and works from material lists and inventory control records.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED equivalent, or Technical School.
- Must be reliable and have excellent attendance.
- 3-5 years of related work experience.
- Inventory/Stockroom experience preferred.
