What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tool Crib Attendant position at FM Industries?

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for utilizing the shop paper procedure, including updates, signatures, and stamps, counting quantities, labeling, and non-conformances related activities.
- Issue the tools and equipment to workers as needed.
- Maintain current and accurate records.
- Pull and store for upcoming scheduled jobs from the setup sheets issued by Manufacturing.
- Notify the Tool Crib Lead of any tools that need to be ordered.
- Set up jobs and provide “offset” as needed.
- Check stock for programmers and others as needed.
- Breakdown and store tools daily
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED equivalent, or Technical School.
- Must be reliable and have excellent attendance.
- 1-3 years of related work experience
- Ability to perform basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints to properly distribute the correct tooling.
