Position Description :
We are seeking an experienced Indoor Pool HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate must have expertise in servicing AAON and PoolPak HVAC units and a deep understanding of dehumidification and relative humidity (RH) management in an indoor pool setting. This role is essential in maintaining a stable and comfortable environment, ensuring RH levels of 60-70% to simulate a tropical climate within the pool area.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on AAON and PoolPak dehumidification systems.
- Monitor, adjust, and optimize humidity levels (60-70% RH) to maintain proper indoor air quality for the pool environment.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to dehumidification, ventilation, and climate control.
- Conduct regular system inspections, including filters, coils, dampers, and sensors, ensuring optimal operation.
- Work closely with facility management to implement best practices for moisture control and corrosion prevention in indoor aquatic spaces.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and industry standards.
- Keep accurate service records, report system performance, and recommend necessary upgrades or replacements.
- Respond promptly to HVAC-related emergencies affecting the pool environment.
