We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support Head Start which is a nationwide comprehensive child development program serving pregnant families and eligible children from birth to five. As per Section 640(a)(1)(C)(i) of the Head Start Act, amended on December 12, 2007, a portion of the Head Start allocation is reserved for training and technical assistance (TTA) activities to enhance service quality. This is an opportunity to improve local programs' capacity to deliver high-quality services, focusing on correcting findings from federal monitoring, school readiness, and staff training/professional development needs.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Regional TTA Coordinator and the Regional Office with general administrative responsibilities related to TTA contract activities and deliverables.
- Organize events and meetings for regional TTAs, including virtual events.
- Perform clerical and administrative duties including data entry, data aggregation, and recordkeeping.
- Aggregate and prepare data from existing government systems to inform and report on TTA activities.
- Contribute to the preparation and submission of accurate and timely travel plans and monthly and quarterly reports by RTTAC.
- Access and accuracy of records must be maintained across various data systems.
- Assist the Regional National Training Plan (RNTP) committee in the completion of the annual regional national training plan.
- Incorporate other tasks specific to the support of the RTTAC work or as requested by the COR.
- Participate in national, regional, and state work groups and meetings as directed by the OHS.
Education & Qualifications
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree from an accredited university/institution.
- 2-3 years of extensive experience in early childhood education, training, and technical assistance.
- Proven track record of delivering sound and actionable support of analyses of data quality issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent business writing skills and attention to detail; impeccable command of English grammar and the ability to communicate with key stakeholders and external partners.
- Proficiency with basic computer programming, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
