What are the responsibilities and job description for the Approvals Engineering Assistant position at FM?

Key Responsibilities:
- Testing Electronic Products: We are seeking a skilled professional to test electronic products, including industrial fire alarm and signaling equipment.
- Designing and Fabricating Testing Apparatus: The candidate shall be capable of designing and fabricating testing apparatus and setups as required for each assigned task.
- Minimal Supervision and Documentation: Shall be capable of working with minimal supervision and documenting the test results at the conclusion of the testing.
- Reviewing Technical Documentation: In addition to the testing activities, the candidate shall be capable of reviewing, applying technical judgement and processing client submitted design change documentation.
Requirements: Associate's Degree or equivalent in Electrical / Electronic technology, with a minimum of 2 years electrical / electronic experience. Basic computer literacy, Competency with MS Office, and Experience with Industrial Flame or Gas Detection equipment would be a distinct bonus.
