About the Role
This role involves handling field visits, office work, and projects for large commercial clients. You will have extensive training to understand our business, build relationships with mentors, and learn FM's best-in-class industry standards.
You will work independently, with a lifeline of 200 years of support and experience. Your assignments will be structured to help you learn, and you will gradually begin assessing risks at larger commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site assessments of physical properties, including roofs, and perform evaluations that help our clients reduce risks in their business and at their properties.
- Follow FM Engineering Standards and communicate recommendations and/or engineering solutions to ensure client understanding.
- Travel to clients' facilities daily, with overnight travel expected approximately 30% of the time. You may also be required to travel to Natural Catastrophe sites as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or fire protection
- 2-5 years of semi-conductor experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Good analytical, organizational, problem-solving skills
- Efficient time management ability to work independently
- Proven technical capability, including diverse knowledge of engineering principles
- Valid driver's license
- Physical ability to climb commercial ladders (ex. inspect roofs), lift >25 lbs., and work in confined spaces
- Proficient in MS Office products
