Function Overview
The role is responsible for developing and growing leadership skills working closely with the Division Director on the development of regional long-range plans, Territory Management, Budgets, Forecasting, Sales and Expenses reporting. We have opportunities in the Mid-South Region (including KY, TN, AR, N.MS, N.AL and the bootheel of MO) The Regional Business Manager will develop, direct, and implement plans consistent with national strategies, provide timely forecasts and anticipate market trends. The Regional Business Manager sets performance standards and provides performance feedback to team members. Responsibilities also include leading, directing and motivating the sales reps in managing the day-to-day activities and demands of the business. Critical to success in the role is development of close customer relationships at the regional level.

Responsibilities
- Maintain key business drivers and competitive activities into account and territory planning process
- Ensure maximum account penetration for optimal customer relationships and sales opportunities.
- Lead the utilization of resources (sales, technical support) to achieve optimum account profitability and to provide value added services to accounts.
- Establish leadership and teamwork within the NA Organization
- Provide leadership and field knowledge to aid in the development of marketing initiatives
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with major customers
- Select, develop and motivate staff to ensure department goals are achieved.
- Provide guidance/direction to less experienced sales professionals.

- BS/BA in Agronomics or related field of agriculture,
- MBA preferred
- 2 years commercial experience in a management role
- 4-6 years sales and/or marketing or related experience in the agricultural industry required
- Experience in both sales and marketing a plus
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to various business practices
- Excellent communication and team building skills
- Attitude of respect across all levels of organizations
