Role Overview
As a Senior Maritime Surveyor at FMC International , you will be the primary representative of the company’s services on the ground, playing a pivotal role in delivering technical expertise onboard vessels. You will be responsible for conducting a broad range of inspections and surveys, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations, and providing key insights to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed onboard surveys and inspections to ensure vessels meet all regulatory, safety, and technical standards.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive inspection reports, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vessel crew, owners, and external authorities, including the U.S. Coast Guard and maritime regulatory bodies.
- Assess the condition of ship structures, machinery, and safety systems, providing expert recommendations to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with international and local maritime regulations, including SOLAS, MARPOL, and USCG requirements.
- Represent FMC International with professionalism during all client interactions and ensure high-quality service delivery.
