What you’ll be doing
Due to their prolonged success, our client is seeking to welcome a Key Account Manager with a strong understanding of the renewables industry. You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle from prospect and pipeline management through to proposal, close and implementation.
Your day to day might look a little like this:
- Travelling to customers and pitching face-to-face products and services - building on your opportunity pipeline and closing opportunities
- Collaborating with operations and customer success teams to uncover new business opportunities and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
- Representing the company as a brand ambassador by hosting webinars, attending trade shows, conferences, and technical symposiums
- Responsibility for achieving overall sales targets and driving the growth and development of key accounts
- Ensuring the accuracy and quality of customer pipeline data in the CRM (Salesforce)
- Advocating for the customer’s perspective in all internal sales processes and strategic planning
A bit about you
Ideally, you’ll be based in Colorado, USA.
You’ll have a strong technical background and ideally a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant work experience.
A few other key skills our client is looking for:
- Experience in software sales
- Management skills to business partnerships and distributors
- Strong contract/commercial and relationship management skills
- Credibility to operate at a senior level within customer and partner organizations
- Extensive technical background and/or a first degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Ability to scope, price and communicate high quality technical proposal
- Interpersonal with ability to push for and close a deal
- Leadership potential and ambition - personal drive and commitment to achieve growth and success
