FMI Equipment is a dealer of equipment and supplies related to construction, tree care, forestry, municipality, and many more industries. We are a “one stop shop” for machinery, trucks, service, parts and climbing gear for these industries. With 6 locations spanning Washington, Oregon, and California, our mission at FMI is to help our customers maximize uptime, gain access to high quality lines of equipment, and back it up with great customer service.
We are looking for our next sales representative who can become a product specialist rock star. They will oversee the planning and selling requirements through applicable marketing/sales strategies. This may include prospecting, qualifying, interviewing, presenting, demonstrating, price negotiating and delivering new equipment products. This role requires someone who is passionate about exceptional customer service, before and after the sale, and can partner with customers on the phone and in person.

Job Qualifications:
- Some sales experience prefered.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have computer skills and be able to learn company software programs (i.e., Microsoft Office, Salesforce, RIMMS).
- Self-confidence and initiative are critical to this role.
- Ability to work in a team environment yet independently and unsupervised.
- No overnight travel required.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, including DMV screening. This position requires a clean driving record.
- CDL is a bonus, but not required for this role.
- Must be able to physically setup equipment for transport and be “hands‐on” with customer training.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly.
