Job Description: Risk Manager, Regulatory Communications Monitoring and Oversight The Role The Risk Manager role is key to the Regulatory Communications Group’s supervision of regulatory communications. Daily activities include content reviews and monitoring to ensure that communications are delivered within regulatory requirements. The role is also part of our enhanced testing program, and includes identifying, researching, and resolving exceptions and issues identified during sampling and periodic testing. The Expertise and Skills You Bring 2 to 5 years of experience in risk management or related experience, such as Audit, Compliance or other comparable internal control functions. Exposure to prospectuses, trade confirmations, and other communications is preferable. The ability to blend brokerage knowledge with a risk management approach to identify and mitigate risks. Understanding of or willingness to learn Fidelity Shareholder reporting operations processes. Exposure to data analysis and related concepts is a plus; interest in designing, testing, and analyzing results to identify trends or anomalies is preferred. Natural curiosity about how processes work, desire to get to the root of problems, and commitment to raising difficult issues are all important characteristics. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors. Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
