Job Description: VP, Procurement Support Services The Role The VP, Procurement Support Services will oversee all of the Centers of Excellence that support the strategic sourcing and contracts groups in procurement including Competitive Events, Supplier Administration, Purchasing, Spendworks Service desk, Payments, and Invoicing. This role will ensure alignment with Procurement, Risk, Financial Controls, and the Risk Management framework. Experience with managing a Global Services Team. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of procurement best practices, account payable, financial controls, and enterprise-wide process improvements. The Expertise and Skills You bring Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance standards to ensure valid purchase orders and payments are being sent to our third-party suppliers. Partner with finance, legal, and risk team in the US, Ireland, and India to develop and enforce procurement controls and mitigate third-party risks and potential fraud. Continue to evolve the Service Desk by utilizing chat and voice functions for quick turnaround on BU and Supplier questions. Oversee the end-to-end AP process, including invoice processing, payment execution, and supplier reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and timelines. Implement AP automation, e-invoicing, and digital payment solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reduce errors Ensure compliance with financial controls, tax regulations, and audit requirements, minimizing risk exposure Develop and maintain strong vendor payment terms and cash flow optimization strategies in collaboration with treasury and finance teams. Lead a high-performing procurement operations and AP team, fostering a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and collaboration Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing insights on procurement operational trends, and financial efficiencies through competitive bidding and discount rates for on-time payments. Ability to travel 25% of the time domestically and internationally The Team The Procurement Support Services team is responsible for leading and optimizing the end-to-end procurement and payment processes to drive efficiency, compliance, and cost savings across the organization. The team works across Procurement, Risk, Financial Controls, and the Risk Management framework.
