FN America offers a full-time, paid summer internship program to students that will provide interns with a practical real-world, career-related experience within a professional setting. Our program offers an opportunity for students to apply the knowledge and theories learned in the classroom to the world of work. Our goal is to ensure that interns have a productive and positive learning experience.


As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will: 

  • Support the Metrology/CMM (coordinate-measuring machine) team, gaining hands-on experience with measurement/inspection methods. 
  • Conduct Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (Gage R&R) studies on inspection equipment and CMM programs, applying quality tools and techniques. 
  • Assist in revamping the Gage R&R process to develop more efficient methods for completion, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Participate in additional quality-related functions, gaining a broader understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and exposure to industry best practices. 

Preferred Degree Program: Mechanical Engineering

Internship Program Dates: May 19-August 1, 2025 (11 weeks)

Internship Schedule: Full-time hours (40 hours per week)


Eligibility

The Quality Engineering Intern must:

  • Be a full-time enrolled student, in good standing with an accredited educational institution.
  • Be an undergraduate (rising Junior or senior) or graduate student.
  • Have a 2.8 GPA or higher with no academic or corrective action on record.
