JOB SUMMARY
The Lender specializes in providing financial solutions tailored to agricultural and commercial clients, facilitating their growth and success by assessing their credit needs and leveraging knowledge of the agricultural and commercial sectors. This position involves evaluating loan applications, conducting risk analyses, and developing strong relationships with clients to understand their operations and financing requirements. The Lender collaborates with colleagues across the organization to ensure the delivery of comprehensive financial services while adhering to regulatory standards. This role plays a pivotal role in growing and maintaining the bank’s portfolio and will make efforts to be a part of and improve the community in which the bank serves.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with ag and commercial clients, fostering business growth and client retention within the FNB region. Manage an agriculture and commercial loan portfolio.
- Assess and analyze loan applications from agricultural and commercial clients, including reviewing financial statements, credit histories, and business plans.
- Conduct on-site evaluations and meet with clients to understand their business operations, cash flow, and financing needs.
- Develop and structure tailored lending solutions to meet the unique needs of clients in the agricultural and commercial industries.
- Monitor and manage a portfolio of loans, ensuring ongoing compliance with loan terms and identifying potential risks.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and encourage ongoing business.
- Develop relationships with various community and professional organizations to further enhance the bank’s image and develop additional business or promote additional bank services.
- Comply with all BSA and regulatory requirements and complete appropriate documentation.
- Carry out other such duties as may be assigned or directed.
Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, agriculture, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience or familiarity with agricultural lending or commercial finance is required.
- Agricultural education, experience, or background is required.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial analysis tools
