We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will assist the marketing staff in the completion of new and renewal business marketing tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and distributing new and renewal business accounts, managing accounts with Assigned Risk markets, and generating insurance proposals for clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your marketing skills and contribute to the success of our marketing initiatives.
What’s the work like?
You will...
- Assist in the preparation of new and renewal business marketing through application review and entering new clients per basic client sheets. Assisting marketing staff with filing and documentation as needed, online quoting, and following up with new business tasks.
- Distribute new business and renewal accounts as they come in per lead marketer instruction and adding client to marketing report.
- Creating BOR letters
- Creating loss runs request forms
- Follow agency and department procedures as outlined
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained in the collection, maintenance, and dissemination of highly
- sensitive information, including Protected Health Information (PHI)
- Maintain, develop, and pursue technical knowledge through newsletters, bulletins, seminars,
- trade publications or other educational opportunities
- Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with employees at all levels;
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance
- Any other special projects and duties as assigned

Requirements
What do I need to know?
You have to have…
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Basic understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail, strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to follow directions
- Strong sales and positive negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel) and electronic mail system
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with employees at all levels within the organization, as well as clients, prospects, and vendors
Preferred Qualifications:
- Property & Casualty Insurance License
