Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized administrative inventory clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting overall operational efficiency. This position requires strong administrative skills, strong mathematical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
This position requires many varied skills and qualifications. It is a support position, communication, mathematics, and decision making are paramount. Job duties can vary widely, not just from job to job, but from day to day. On any given day, a variety of tasks may be required, which may not be covered in this job description. Scheduling and coordinating chemical deliveries, maintaining inventories (electronic and physical) preparing emails, invoices, reports and correspondence. Other items could include preparing instructional documents, creating and maintaining file systems (electronic and physical), and managing accounts.
· Maintain a high level of professionalism when dealing with customers and vendors.
· Update order status in database.
· Work with management as to changes to product or schedules.
· Review and apply inventory activities for usage and reporting.
· Maintain and update inventory records.
· Reconcile inventory discrepancies.
· Report stock issues to management and place orders as necessary.
· Verify purchase requests and order chemicals as necessary for production.
· Collect receiving documentation and collate with P.O. documentation for approval sign-off.
