What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Associate position at Foamcraft?
Foamcraft is the leader in foam fabrication and has been for decades. We are looking for individuals to join our family as Retail Associates at our Comfort Option store at Keystone Fashion Mall in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a part-time position with primary hours being evenings and weekends.
Since 1952 Foamcraft, Inc. has led the polyurethane foam fabrication industry. Today, Foamcrafts focus on Quality, Service, Innovation, and Expertise sets us apart from our competition.
Foamcraft has recently begun launching its own set of Consumer Brands, which provide finished products to end users. Comfort Option is a primary driver of that effort. Included items for sale within the Comfort Option store is customized mattresses, pillows, and Foamnasium play sets.
The primary role of the Retail Associate is to engage customers within Comfort Option’s Fashion Mall at Keystone Store located in Indianapolis, Indiana. However, this opportunity is beyond the typical retail cashier or sales associate. This role is required to learn, understand, and communicate the aspects of Comfort Option’s brand that differentiates it apart from its competitors. Tasks within this role will include:
- Sales: Engaging with customers within the store. Keyholder responsibilities.
- Branding: Maintaining consistency through communication – spoken and visual
- Industry Knowledge: through training, willingness to learn about the mattress industry as it applies to our product
Starting Rate of Pay will be $16/hour Bonus Potential
Desired Skills & Experience
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Marketing experience and education helpful
- Strong interpersonal and communication
- Community Service Experience
- Competitive Drive
- Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office, social media
- Physically able to carry 20 pounds
- Comfortable with flexible hours, including nights and weekends
