Focal Point Medical Staffing is hiring Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) for per diem (PRN) positions at one of our Long-Term Care facility partners in Jefferson, NC! See below for full details and benefits.
Pay Rate: $22.23/hr.
Schedule/ Shifts: 3p-11p and 11p-7a

Position Requirements:
- Current CNA certification in the state where employed, must be active on Nurse Aide I registry.
- Two forms of identification (Driver's License and Social Security card)
- COVID Vaccination
- Most recent Negative PPD (within last 12 months) OR Chest X-ray (within last 5 years)
- At least 6 months of previous experience CNA in a Long-Term Care and/or Assisted Living setting
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily needs, such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and personal hygiene
- Monitor and record vital signs, blood glucose, and other patient information as directed
- Administer medications to patients as prescribed by the physician or nurse
- Assist patients in therapy and rehabilitation programs
- Assist in the maintenance of a clean and safe environment for patients
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families
- Report any changes in patient condition or behavior to the registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner
Working Conditions:
The CNA will be required to work in a healthcare facility, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. The job may require the CNA to lift and move patients or heavy equipment. Evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required.
