EDI Data Analyst Job Duties:
· Process and manage all inbound and outbound documents that we receive for our EDI clients. These include importing orders, sending Advanced Ship Notices and invoices, and making any necessary changes on purchase orders.
· The candidate must communicate daily with our warehouse to make sure all EDI orders are labeled and sent out correctly within our shipping window.
· Work with all trading partners to resolve any problems or issues with inbound or outbound documents.
· Work with all trading partners to make sure our company meets all guidelines and requirements set by each trading partner.
· Set up new EDI trading partner connections during the slower months for our department.
· Analyze current EDI process within our company and see if there are any improvements that could be made to improve efficiency.
EDI Data Analyst Summary Job Functions:
· Coordinate and monitor daily EDI data exchanges including:
· Outbound Purchase Orders
· Inbound PO Acknowledgments
· Inbound Invoices
· Inbound Advance Ship Notices
EDI Analyst, ERP Analyst, Electronic Document Exchange Analyst, Enterprise System Analyst, Supply Chain Systems Analyst, Accounts Payable Systems Analyst
EDI Data Analyst Job Requirements:
· Must have very good communicational skills
· Needs a strong base of knowledge in Microsoft Office products
· Any prior work with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
· Must be very detail orientated and analytical
· Bachelor’s Degree and any classes completed in Information Technology is a plus
