Title: Electrical Controls Engineer

- Design control systems, including panel layout, wiring schematics, write PLC programs for various in-house equipment and automation.
- Work closely with the Maintenance department to troubleshoot and support existing equipment.
- Develop and write operating, setup, maintenance procedures.
- In partnership with the production team, review equipment efficiency and utilization to help identify process improvements and cost reduction opportunities.
- Design improvements to existing equipment and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience is required
- 10 years minimum experience with manufacturing controls
- Robotic programming
- PLC & HMI programming
- Strong electrical knowledge
- Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Proficiency with 2D CAD software (3D a plus)
- Mechanical aptitude
- Analytical skills
- Machine vision a plus
- Detailed oriented
- Good communication skills
- Good organizational skills
