The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing quality control inspections to ensure compliance with standards and specifications in a manufacturing environment. Main Responsibilities
- Obtain samples from machine (molding and/or secondary operations) and visually and dimensionally inspect parts for compliance with established standards.
- Accurately record inspection data and complete required forms accordingly.
- Prepare and maintain appropriate quality records, including filing microfilm and creating wall charts.
- Perform routine quality checks and contribute to maintaining an efficient and effective quality control system.
- Carry out other duties as assigned to support production and quality control efforts.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a Quality Control Inspector role or similar position in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven experience in QA/QC functions or quality control-related roles.
- Knowledge of quality inspection processes and methodologies, with a preference for candidates familiar with manufacturing standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Proficient in using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for precise evaluations.
- Familiarity with vision inspection systems is a plus.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining focus on individual responsibilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
