Direct Support Professional (DSP) Job Summary:
A DSP provides essential care and support to individuals with disabilities, assisting them in daily living activities, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life. DSPs work in a variety of settings, including a variety of community locations and homes, ensuring individuals receive compassionate and respectful support.
New Focus Employees are eligible for up to $500.00 in bonuses within their first 90 days!

Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Must agree to a criminal background check, driving record check, and possible FBI Fingerprint and Sex Offender Registry Check
- Must be able to assist individuals with getting up, walking, and moving by lifting or guiding when necessary.
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds or more at times.
Education and Experience:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED preferred but not necessary
- Experience in Human Services is preferred but not required
Compensation: Hourly (based on experience, education and shifts worked) plus will receive a mileage reimbursement.
Bonus payments are contingent upon meeting new hire expectations for submission timelines and performance.
